Smiles Forever of Gardendale
This can be anything done to correct imperfections in the appearance of the smile. Anyone who is unhappy with their smile can have it fixed. The upper teeth show, usually, only when smiling, while the lower teeth remain hidden. This is reversed when talking, with the upper teeth remaining hidden while the lower teeth show. The color, alignment, spacing as well as regularity of the teeth are the characteristics that give the overall appearance. Any of these can be repaired to give a stunning look to the mouth.
We offer a wide variety of cosmetic options. Some of these options are whitening, smile design, re contouring of the shape of the teeth, veneers, bonding, and all ceramic/porcelain crowns.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Same Visit Crowns
Over the years technology has advanced greatly; you no longer have to wear a temporary crown for 2 weeks in between prepping the tooth and getting the permanent crown back in from an outside lab! We have Cerec in our office where we scan the tooth and send the scan to our in-house mill that will make the crown while you are in the chair! Then a color match is done and the permanent crown is seated same day! No matter how much you love seeing us this will help with you cut down on visits! Appointment time for a single crown is usually under 2 hours!
Whitening
We offer two different types of whitening to fit everyone’s schedule and needs.
Opalescence Pro is our in-office whitening. Opalescence Pro can get you up to 5 shades whiter in one visit. With this treatment you get up to three 20-minute sessions in office. You will see results immediately.
Opalescence Go is for those of you with busy schedules. No custom trays necessary. These are prepackaged whitening trays that are simple enough to put on in the car! These are to be worn for 20-30 minutes each day. With this kit you will receive 10 upper trays and 10 lower trays.
Veneers
Veneers are a dental procedure in which a covering is placed over the outside (visible area) of the tooth. Veneers are usually only done to the part of the teeth that are visible when talking or smiling. The procedure can be direct or indirect.
The direct technique usually involves placing composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This method is usually referred to as bonding.
The indirect technique usually involves two appointments because the veneers will be fabricated at a dental laboratory. At the first appointment the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are given a temporary covering. In two to three weeks the veneers are back from the laboratory, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The laboratory fabricated veneers are usually made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are very esthetic.
The advantage of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is removed, and the procedure is generally less uncomfortable. Veneers are recommended for teeth that have large fillings or little tooth structure.
Dysport
Say Bye Bye to those annoying frown lines and crow’s feet that are making you look and feel older than you are! Dysport (abobotulinumtoxinA) has a one-of-a-kind formulation and Dysport is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for both cosmetic and medical uses. Dysport is an alternative to Botox that we feel has longer lasting results. There is even a rewards program, Aspire Galderma Rewards, that helps you save money on treatments for Dysport and Restylane Filler!
Restylane Dermal Fillers
For those looking to control the signs of aging, enhance lips and soften nasolabial folds and frown lines. Fillers can restore your skins youthfulness that is lost with age. Restylane is a hyaluronic acid based dermal filler and is FDA approved. Fun Fact: Restylane was the first hyaluronic acid filler to receive FDA approval for cosmetic use in subdermal facial tissues! Restylane uses the same rewards program, Aspire Galderma Rewards, that helps you save money on treatments for Restylane Filler and Dysport!
Bio Fillers
Unlike traditional fillers Bio Filler is 100% natural filler made from your own blood components, specifically hyaluronic acid (HA), which is naturally present in the skin. This makes Bio Filler a safer option for individuals looking for a natural anti-aging treatment that reduces the risk of allergies.
